The Admira Handcrafted range brings together the best materials and builders who follow traditional Spanish methods to create each guitar by hand. The A8 combines rosewood back and sides with the solid cedar top vital to classic Spanish guitar tone, completed with contrasting maple wood binding.
Showing off beautiful rosewood back and sides and quality fittings and solid cedar top, the A8 looks great and sounds even better. The top is lightweight and carefully reinforced for volume and response. Contrasting light maple binding on top and back complete the body with a unique touch. The mahogany neck is reinforced with a strip of hardwood for outstanding stability. The fingerboard and bridge are also rosewood, and the bridge is fitted with a bone saddle.
Made in accordance with the traditional Spanish methods, Admira Handcrafted guitars feature a Spanish heel, lightweight solid cedar tops and carefully constructed struts for power, volume and clarity in tone. The Spanish heel is a complicated neck joint where neck and heel are carved from one piece of wood that is interlocked with the sides of the body, giving enhanced tonal qualities compared to a standard glued neck design.
The builders chosen for the Admira Handcrafted workshop use premium wood and other materials including bone nut and saddle and quality machine heads for reliable and easy tuning.
