Why you should play the violin
The violin is a great instrument to start learning music – especially for children. Violins come in all sizes from 1/16th to full size, so age and height are definitely not an issue. Learning the violin can be quite technical and challenging, but also rewarding and fulfilling. It teaches you patience and discipline, but also how to work hard and achieve results.
Learn the violin – a versatile musical instrument
The violin is also so versatile. You can play different genres and styles of music such as Classical, Blues, Folk, Pop or Jazz. You can play as a soloist or in an ensemble, like a string trio or a big orchestra, to meet lots of new people or to feel a sense of belonging with like-minded musicians.

About our violin lessons
Here at Caringbah Music, our violin teachers are accomplished and highly-qualified musicians who are university graduates from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and UNSW. They are passionate, talented and enthusiastic about teaching the violin and passing on their love of beautiful music.

Our teaching approach is fun and educational. Our violin teachers understand that no two students are the same, so they cater to the needs of each individual student and teach in a way that is both engaging and enjoyable. They value their ideas and make sure that their violin students are happy in their musical journey and development.
Violin lessons according to traditional and modern methods
They use both traditional and Suzuki methods, and prepare their students for both AMEB and Trinity College London Exams. Exams are useful to validate your child’s musical skills and give them a strong sense of achievement.
