The trumpet has three keys, a horn and a mouthpiece, so it’s quite easy to assemble and play. Different notes are made using combinations of keys, and sounds are made by blowing into the mouthpiece.

An affordable and portable instrument
The trumpet is relatively cheap compared to other instruments and is very portable as well. Just pack your trumpet into its case and carry it around. It’s not big and heavy like a tuba, double bass or harp, so it's easy to transport to and from school or to take around on public transport without too much of a hassle.
